Ms. Meg Ricci is a Charlotte-area choral educator and private music instructor with nearly a decade of experience teaching voice, piano, guitar, and music theory to students of all ages. She holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Education with Honors from Belmont University and holds K-12 Vocal/General Music licensure in North Carolina.

In the public school setting, she served as Director of Choirs and AP Music Theory teacher at Ardrey Kell High School, where she led a choral program of over 200 students and served as AP Music Theory District Curriculum Lead. Prior to that, she was Director of Choirs and Music Theory at Olympic High School while also serving as Fine Arts Department Chair. Her students have earned placement in a wide range of honor ensembles, including the CMS Honor Chorus, NC All-State Chorus, NC Honor Chorus, and the Southern Regional ACDA Honors Choir.

In addition to her school-based work, she has served on staff at Belmont University’s Summer Vocal Arts Intensive, was an All-National Audition Grader at the 2023 ACDA National Conference, served as a Choral MPA Preparatory Clinician at both the middle and high school level, and performs as a member of the Charlotte Master Chorale. She maintains an active private studio specializing in vocal audition preparation and is a longtime member of NAfME, NCMEA, and ACDA. She is thrilled to join the faculty of the Carolina Youth Orchestra Summer Festival.
